Established in 1982, the Open Eye Gallery is one of Scotland’s leading private art galleries. Set in the heart of the New Town of Edinburgh it represents leading Scottish contemporary artists including John Bellany, Leon Morrocco, Barbara Rae and John Byrne.
The Open Eye Gallery has a varied exhibition calendar, showing paintings, drawings and mixed media works by emerging artists and those of the established school. Applied arts including ceramics, jewellery, glass, wood and sculpture are also represented. The Print Room in the Open Eye Gallery is dedicated to exhibiting modern, European and American printmakers. Works include prints by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Peter Blake, Ben Nicholson and David Hockney.
Hanging, Framing and Deliveries
If you have purchased artwork from the Open Eye Gallery then advice and a quotation can be given to hang the work in your home or office and arrangements can be made to have the work framed to your specification. Deliveries within the UK and overseas can also be coordinated.
Gift Vouchers and Wedding Lists
Many artists that the Open Eye Gallery represent are willing to work on a commission basis. If you have just moved house and need to rehang or are thinking about revising or beginning an art collection then please contact the gallery for advice.
